Jenny will be attending the 'Society for Children's Books Writers and Illustrators' Winter Conference in New York City, 9-11 February 2007, to hone her craft and hopefully find an agent for her children's books. The trip will be partially funded by $1,000.00 awarded to her from a Volusia County (Florida) Individual Artist Professional Development Grant. A six-member panel of arts professionals from different cultural disciplines was appointed by the Cultural Council of Volusia County to review applications, make funding recommendations and award grants.
